Fusion #3: Vortex

My goals included:

1) painting—without perspective—a visual hole in the canvas, breaking the flatness of the abstract planar surface

2) suggesting falling, rotational motion, and conflict (conflict and drama being the stuff of life and art) abstractly and directly, without representation

3) breakage exploding outwards, spinning architectonic motion, outwardly directed as if projecting past the canvas edges.
